Feature Film Producers Marvin V. Acuna and Evan Astrowsky to Hold Free Teleseminar

In an industry full of doubt and uncertainty, where truly talented screenwriters can go their entire careers without ever "making it," Producer Marvin V. Acuna is dedicated to opening the door for ambitious Hollywood scribes.

"Most writers -- as talented as they might be - are victims of the 'insider's club' that is Hollywood. My goal is to provide the access that they need to be successful," states Acuna. "And that's why we at The Business of Show Institute are holding this free teleseminar with literary manager/producer Evan Astrowsky. The teleseminar will be held on Friday, June 12th at 10am Pacific Time, 1pm Eastern Time."

"Here's why ambitious screenwriters should participate on this call. Evan is a partner at Mythic International, where he spearheads the literary representation division. He produced Eli Roth's horror debut 'Cabin Fever,' New Line's 'Fan Boys,' with producing partner Kevin Spacey, and "Columbus Day,' starring Val Kilmer (among a host of other feature films). Up next for Astrowsky is a remake of the 80's horror classic, 'Waxworks,' and 'Ironclad,' with Paul Giamatti. So this free, live teleseminar is going to give the screenwriters on the call a valuable look into the minds of two successful, established producers," says Acuna.

Acuna (who produced 2009's "The Great Buck Howard - John Malkovich, Colin Hanks, Emily Blunt, and Tom Hanks, "Two Days" -- Paul Rudd, Donal Logue, "Touched" -- Jenna Elfman, and "How Did It Feel" -- Blair Underwood) says that the most successful screenwriters he's worked with over his 15 years in the business, have all created breakthroughs in their careers once they realized what professional, active producers like Astrowsky, are looking for in a script, as well as the specific qualities they look for in writers they want to work with. And on this free teleseminar, these exact topics will be covered.

Acuna and The Business of Show Institute have been featured in dozens of media publications including Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Hispanic Business Magazine, Screenwriter Magazine, Screenwriter Radio, and many other outlets, teaching screenwriters how to become successful in Hollywood.
