Ralph Unleashes Hell

Synopsis

In Ellsburg, a young man is brutally killed by something in the woods, while miles away burned-out occult exterminator RALPH JAMES battles a demonic mimic carrying an ominous message: the Seventh Level is rising, and Ralph cannot escape his destiny. Worse, the creature speaks through the face of OLLY, the dead childhood friend whose death drove Ralph from Ellsburg years ago. When Ralph begins seeing his murdered cousin Roland warning him to come home, he refuses to return and instead sends his occult mentor DONATELLO JULIETTE to investigate.

While Don discovers something monstrous stalking Ellsburg and reconnects with ELEANOR TRAVIS — the woman Ralph left behind — Ralph takes what should be another routine supernatural job in New York. A supposedly haunted apartment leads him to JONNY THE SAILOR, an immortal killer trapped inside a wooden doll that Ralph thought he'd disposed of years earlier. After learning somebody deliberately freed Jonny and has plans for him, Ralph defeats the murderous doll by transferring its soul into a hamster. Meanwhile, Don communes with Eleanor's dead mother and learns that the prophecy surrounding Ralph may have been catastrophically misinterpreted — just as an unknown entity attacks him.

Don's desperate final message sends Ralph racing back to the one place he swore never to return: Ellsburg. There, he discovers Don missing and comes face-to-face with an impossible apparition of Olly, who claims their connection never died and warns Ralph to stick around for the "endgame" before violently throwing him through a hotel window. Battered but alive, Ralph is pulled back into the lives of Eleanor's sister Frankie and her friend Mitch, unaware that dark forces are already watching Eleanor — and that Ralph's return to Ellsburg may be exactly what they have been waiting for.
