When a bitter family feud escalates, a rebellious tech exec and his girlfriend head to a remote firehouse during a blizzard to defiantly vote against his father's mayoral bid, only to be trapped by a masked axe-wielding killer.

When an Election Day reunion dinner reopens old wounds with his red state kin, Brett Clancy, a liberal Big Tech exec and his activist girlfriend Tracy head to a remote firehouse to defiantly vote against his ruthless father Ned's small town mayoral bid, but when a masked axe-wielding figure appears outside, he must band together with his estranged poll worker uncle Walt to escape the predatory and possibly politically motivated cat and mouse game of a depraved madman...

Brett Clancy, a high-ranking executive in the Big Tech industry, is preparing to attend his family's Election Day reunion dinner in his conservative hometown. With him is his activist girlfriend Tracy, who shares Brett's liberal views and is eager to make a good impression on his red state kin. However, as soon as they arrive, tensions flare up between Brett and his father Ned, who is running for mayor of the small town. The old wounds between them are reopened, and Brett becomes more determined than ever to vote against his father's candidacy.

But when they arrive at the polling place, a remote firehouse, they encounter a masked figure wielding an axe. Panic sets in as they realize that they are trapped in the building with a potentially politically motivated predator. As the killer closes in on them, Brett must team up with his estranged uncle Walt, a poll worker, to escape the clutches of the madman.

As they try to find a way out of the firehouse, Brett and Walt come across several obstacles that force them to confront their past and present conflicts. The killer seems to be targeting them specifically, and they must unravel the motive behind the attacks before it's too late. With every passing moment, the tension rises, and the cause-and-effect of this conflict becomes more apparent.

In a series of adrenaline-fueled scenes, Brett and Walt fight for their survival against the relentless killer. They must rely on their wits and ingenuity to stay one step ahead of their pursuer. Along the way, they uncover shocking revelations about their family's history and the true nature of the killer's vendetta.

As the story reaches its climax, Brett and Walt make one last desperate attempt to escape the firehouse and bring the killer to justice. In a heart-stopping finale, they confront the masked figure in a final showdown that will determine their fate.

“Concept - 5/5, Theme – 5/5, Overall - 4.5 out of 5; Overall I really love this script and think it’s very well done. You’ve done a fantastic job setting up a small-town political story that aptly reflects and represents the state of culture and politics in present-day America. I think a small-town mayoral race is such a smart way to make commentary about the chasms between the right and left; the depths of voter intimidation and suppression; and the political divide that has separated townsfolk and families.
