BLESS & RELEASE

When an optimistic “empty nester” adopts an independent, new-age lifestyle, she cops howls of protest from her needy "vanilla" husband, while their son is pleading for help regarding his own marital issues. Abandoning her quest is non-negotiable, but when they reveal dark secrets about themselves, it forces her to confront her own “skeleton in the closet.”

We think Eliza is now on a happy, optimistic journey of self-discovery via her "new-age" lifestyle, despite her needy "vanilla" husband, friends and hypocritical family attempting to put her back in a box. But underneath her breezy facade, she’s secretly buying into a false sense of inadequacy. Her husband is having a long-standing affair with her best friend and she's never had the courage to confront them about it. With Eliza no longer "Miss Doormat" and willing to embrace a "wild ride" of adventures, she disocvers she has much in common with other women across cultural divides, and can no longer hide from her own "skeleton in the closet."
