The Slamdance Screenwriting and Teleplay Competition is dedicated to discovering and supporting emerging writing talent. WILDsound Monthly Reading Series offers screenwriters at all levels the fantastic opportunity of hearing their scripts read out loud using Top Professional Actors in front of a sold out crowd of their peers (over 100 people). Then after the script is read, they get to hear feedback from a selected Industry Professional who will moderate the event and will facilitate a Q&A with the audience.

Hollywood Outreach Program (HOP) provides access to enlisted production companies, agents, and managers for feature film and movie of the week screenplays (entries) that are recommended by the program. All entries receive at least two studio-style comprehensive written evaluations (coverage) in any one session. The program's objective is to help writers improve their craft with a goal of obtaining representation, selling or optioning their work, and/or landing a writing assignment.
