Necropolis

When the 18-year-old son of a murdered gang pariah risks his life to uncover the truth of why his family's ties to the most insidious part of the city, his sister Maria races against the clock to bring him back before he can meet the same fate as their father.

Necropolis is the darkest part of any city where people and their ambitions go to die. It breeds gang activity and enforces a specific type of lower class made up of the broken bodies of immigrants and people of color. When 30-year-old Maria Soreno discovers that her 18-year-old brother has gone to Necropolis to find the truth of their father’s mysterious death, she must delve into the darkest parts of Necropolis in hopes of bringing him back alive. The longer they both are there, the less likely they’ll be able to escape with their lives. This story is inspired by true gang-related encounters, told through Greek mythological symbolism.
