Objective
The Reno-Tahoe Screenplay Fall cycle is now accepting submissions. The winning SHORT SCRIPT GETS OPTIONED AND PRODUCED! We will also produce proof-of-concept scenes from winning feature and TV pilot scripts.
The Reno-Tahoe Screenplay Contest is one of a kind contest that strives to connect local and international screenwriters with producers in an effort to create world-class content.
All entries receive script analysis through Scriptmatix and all entrants will also get an IMDb Thank You credit in the winning short film!!!
The 3 winning writers will also receive 1-year premium membership from Screenwriting Staffing (https://www.screenwritingstaffing.com/premium-membership)
The winners will get produced by our partner Mad Wife Productions. Show More
Rules
- All writers, without regard to age and country of origin, are eligible.
- The material submitted must be in English and in PDF format.
- All material submitted to other competitions or contests is eligible.
- There are no limitations or restrictions as to date of authorship.
- The material submitted must not be encumbered by any obligation to, or option held by, any third party prior to entering the competition.
- Material should be submitted in standard screenplay format, font, spacing and margin.
- Adaptations of source material or other literary work must be properly referenced and credited.
- Feature scripts that exceed 130 pages may be disqualified.
- TV scripts that exceed 75 pages may be disqualified.
- Short scripts that exceed 30 pages may be disqualified.
