DREAM DATE
TREATMENT: REALITY T.V. SHOW TITLE: DREAM DATE SUB-TITLE: CELEBRITY LOUNGE LOGLINE: A single female and a single male unaware of their 'DREAM DATE' matching characteristics, find themselves mingling in this cocktail lounge. In fact, they are the only unmarried individuals in this lounge, and they don't know it. SYNOPSIS: A trendy cocktail lounge is transformed into a romantic dream date match-up venue for two singles, a man and a woman, unbeknownst of a secret scheme. In the lounge, the two single individuals find themselves in the mist of eight other people married to each other, but pretend to be single. PLOT: The single contestants are selected from open casting call where each applicant completes a questionnaire giving profile descriptions of their expected dream dates. The producers will match-up the contestants according to specific physical descriptions of their expected dream date. The married couple participants are also selected from open casting calls. Each episode features different set of singles and different set of married couples. DEVELOPMENT: the host identifies the two single contestants and the married couples as they arrive at the lounge individually. Host-briefing: "Welcome to celebrity lounge&your dream date is here!; there are two persons here that are single and eight married couple. You know yourselves, but the television audience does not know you; and you don't know who amongst you is married and to whom they are married to; the only person that knows who you are is the unknown celebrity, and you don't know who this visiting celebrity is; In other words, no one here knows anything about anybody here but themselves; All you have to do is mingle, meet and talk to each other, and sooner or later, we will find out who your dream date is, and who you are married to, until then, party-on folks!" TWIST/CLIMAX: Anticipation is high for the television audience trying to identify who are the single contestants and to confirm their guesses of whom the married couples are, and to ultimately find out who will be the visiting celebrity. The anticipation is also high for the two singles to meet their dream dates amongst the contestants and to find out who is married and to whom. The married couples also anticipate to knowing who the two single contestants are, and also who amongst themselves is married. All the suspense will be lifted when the visiting celebrity appears to announce the match-ups and identify the married couples. CONCLUSION: The visiting celebrity identifies the four married couples, and the dramatic ending will leave two individuals standing unknown to each other behind the scene. Physical appearance and other expected qualities confirm the two remaining contestants to each other. "Here is your dream date and welcome to my lounge".
