Contest News

Script Pipeline Names Contest Winners

Morgan von Ancken's dramedy Cutting Numbers has been named the winner of the 2013 Script Pipeline Screenwriting Competition. Haji Outlaw's western/thriller Deademen has been named runner up.

"The Script Pipeline team has been an absolute pleasure to work with," von Ancken said. "They took a chance on an idiosyncratic and slightly off-kilter script, and I'm both humbled and deeply grateful that they believed in my weirdness. Talking with Matt, Chad and Dave, it quickly became apparent to me that they had given my work serious and thoughtful consideration. They've got a sterling track record of discovering and developing new talent, and I'm honored to be associated with them."

In the TV Writing contest, Jackson Sinder's drama/adventure Yukon nabbed the top spot.
