Synopsis

Kenji Uehara is a older Japanese man employed by Sony Corp. who along with his wife of 30 some years is very passionate about baseball. Kenji loses his wife to a disease before they could fulfill their dreams of traveling together to America and to watch a SF Giants baseball game. Their favorite baseball team is the Tokyo Giants. Zach Fleming is a young, shallow, attractive architect, who's focus is more on scoring hot women, rather than his career devolvement. Zach is unhappy with his job and wants something more to drive him. Zach is a single child, who was spoiled by his parents. His parents were the only thing he truly cared for. Zach looses them to a accident in Japan while they were there on business.

Kenji's wife's dying wish was for him to go to America. See the Giants and whatever America has to offer. Kenji, a introvert, gathers the courage to make the trip at his wife's request.

Zach decides to travel to Japan to id his parents and also tie up the business they were attending to. Zach, devastated, decides to travel to Japan.

Kenji meets Maggie West, a 50's female travel agent and although English is his second language, his work at Sony has afforded him the luxury of speaking English. Kenji appreciates the friendship Maggie provides, and the two travel along the west coast of the US. Kenji is part of an unfortunate bank robbery and is hospitalized and all his money and id lost.. Will Kenji make it out to see the game? Does Kenji take his new friends advice?

Zach bumps into a cute 20's girl, who's passionate about drawing and anime. Rina Tanaka, has studied English and the two seem to hit it off. Rina is fond of Zach and the two grow closer, although maybe not for the same reasons. Rina suspects something isn't quite right and her family does too. An enormous earthquake hits Japan and Zach and Rina are separated. Will Zach put his selfishness behind him and rescue Rina? What will the outcome for these two 20 something people be?
