Fish out of Water

In 1965, FISH LEVY, the only Jew at Luddington High in rural South Carolina, has to deal with graduation, school integration, a quest for basketball championship, and for first love.

2006 -- Dr. Michael "Fish" Levy returns to Luddington, South Carolina for his 40th High School Reunion, where he reflects on:

1965 -- Senior year begins with the integration of the high school. Fish meets a girl, makes the basketball team and becomes friends with Flash Hunt, African American senior / athlete. As the team goes from victory to victory, they win a championship and integrate a community -- a coming of age story for boy and town.

2006 -- Fish comes to the reunion to find the courage and direction that he has lost over the ensuing 40 years.
