Brush Creek Charlie

One woman joins forces with local law enforcement to stop an insane Vietnam War veteran who becomes a killing machine to unsuspecting women.

The story goes deep into the disturbing world of an unusual serial killer named Charles Robert Rastelli. He is one of the most dangerous men in all of Kansas City, Missouri—possibly even the entire United States. As a shell-shocked Vietnam War veteran, Charlie snacks on danger and he dines on death. An engineering marvel known as Brush Creek—which is two miles of creek water and woods and wildlife—is one of his main hunting grounds for potential prey. A woman named Sandy Barnholtz has been added to his murderous roster. Charlie begins to stalk Sandy. He promises her that she’ll be the next victim whose mutilated body parts will turn up in trashbags down in Brush Creek. As a matter of survival and civic duty, Sandy teams up with local law enforcement to try and stop a homicidal monster like Charlie.
