BLOODLINES

Synopsis

The story begins in 1777. The view is set on the coast of New York where a British Navy ship encounters an eerie, abandoned vessel. When the crew investigates, they are horrified as they discover a scene of brutal carnage, and mutilated bodies of men, women, and children. The crew is still shaken and when they reach shore, the Navy guard invites a Hunter to investigate the scene. He reveals that the slaughter is the work of a rogue lycan (a dangerous supernatural being). The Hunter warns that the creature responsible is lurking nearby and planning to attack. They set the stage for a deadly encounter. Under the full moon, the Hunter leads the crew into a tense standoff with the lycan. It culminates in a violent confrontation that ends with the beast's defeat. We switch to the present day and focus on Alexander Gold. He is a successful casino owner in Las Vegas. He enjoys a lavish lifestyle, but his world takes a dark turn when Cazador, a mysterious lycan hunter, pays him a visit and confronts him. Cazador reveals that Alexander’s uncle, Marcus, is a rogue lycan who plans to kill Alexander to seize control of the family legacy. Alexander wrestles with this revelation and learns that Marcus is responsible for his father’s death as well. Now Marcus wants to seize control of the Lycan board and that is why he is targeting Alex. Cazador urges Alexander to help bring Marcus down. In a series of events, Marcus attacks Alex’s mother, hurts his best friend Nate, and ends up kidnapping his love interest, Mercedes. The final act sees Alexander and Cazador joining forces to confront Marcus and his lycan henchmen. The confrontation takes place at Alexander’s casino, where Marcus plans to eliminate him once and for all. A fierce battle ensues, with Alexander ultimately defeating Marcus, severing the rogue’s hold on the family. In the aftermath, Alexander is left to reconcile his supernatural legacy with his desire for a normal life. He is named the new leader of the Board and invites Mercedes to his home. The climax takes the shape of Mercedes proposing to Alexander and the revelation of her (possible) identity transformation into a lycan.
