My Fiancé, the Dick
This detective comedy won multiple contests (including Disney and WB). An aspiring mystery author discovers her detective fiancé missed a key clue in a recent murder case and sets out to solve it herself, but her fiancé competes to re-solve it first to win back her respect and save their relationship. What makes it so fun and stylish is that it’s presented in three genres — 1950s Hollywood glamour, 1940s film noir, and 1930s pulp – depending on which character is telling the story.
