Treehouse (updated version)

While playing in his father's old treehouse an inquisitive 10-year old boy sees things which make him believe one of his classmates has been kidnapped by a neighbor. The original version was a FINALIST in the 1997 Austin Heart-of Film Screenplay Competition.

Author Bio:
I have written or co-written twenty feature-length screenplays, one short, and three stage plays. Three of the screenplays, INDIANA JONES AND THE SANDS OF TIME, TREEHOUSE and EARTH ANGEL were at one time optioned by Woofenill Works, Inc., a production company based in New York. A fourth, COHORTS, was written on assignment for Chris Scorsese's production company, Cohorts Entertainment.

Two of my screenplays have garnered critical praise: TREEHOUSE was a Finalist in the 1997 Austin Heart-of-Film Screenplay Competition, and THE GOOD SAMARITAN won "Best Thriller" at the 2000 New York Independent Film Festival.
