Miracle Cove

Trouble ensues and emotions are highly charged when an altruistic undergraduate takes a dangerous job logging in the rainforest where he and the anti-logging ecologist he falls for unwittingly challenge his ruthless boss and his thugs controlling the remote town. This 1970s story is based on actual events and is an accurate portrayal of the logging world at the dawn of environmental awareness.

Alfred Cool has written 8 novels. Since 2010, he has won awards in short story contests, has published e-fiction, and is published in three Canadian anthologies. He attended Simon Fraser University to pursue English as his major. Al enjoyed a lengthy career as a computer systems analyst and taught privately and as a college instructor. He is a member of the Vancouver chapter of the Canadian Authors Association and the BC Federation of Writers.
