Our aim, quite simply, is to discover and recognize the brightest new talent and original voices in storytelling from around the world. We identify emerging talent and place top new writers firmly on the industry's radar directly in the heart of the motion picture capital of the world.

Over $5,000 in cash, prizes, and services will be awarded to this year's winning screenwriters and Official Finalists.
Judges will bestow awards in the following tiers for each of the competitive entry categories.
Prizes will be awarded in all of the following competition categories.In addition, one Grand Jury Prize will be awarded to the overall best screenplay selected from among all competition categories as determined by our Official Jury.
Winners and Official Finalists will also receive prize packages including products and screenwriting services from our sponsors and partner companies.
All Winners and Official Finalists will be included in our specialized press release sent out upon the official awards announcement to Hollywood trade publications, the entertainment media, and our exclusive industry list of hundreds of production companies, producers, executives, and literary agents.
