Year six is here, and the competition that has led to more signings, success stories and careers than any other writing competition in the world is now underway. With more than 400 signings, 140 projects set up, 61 writers staffed, 134 appearances on annual best of lists such as the Black List, Blood List, Hit List, and the Young & Hungry List, as well as 6 bidding wars, the Launch Pad Competition has become the premiere hub for Hollywood discovering new talent.

GUARANTEED OPTION PRIZE

Our guaranteed option partners have included more than a dozen projects that have been optioned and sold in just the past few years from people such as Ridley Scott, Michael De Luca, Roy Lee, Jeremy Garelick, as well as companies such as Prime Universe, Romark Entertainment, Oil & Cattle and Endgame Entertainment amongst others. We will reveal our 2019 Launch Pad Pilot Option Partners soon!

As in previous competitions, our guaranteed option partner(s) will select a minimum of 1 project from this years competition to option. To be eligible for the guaranteed option prize, all entrants MUST select the “Guaranteed Option” add-on at time of sign up.

As in previous competitions, each of our mentors or mentor teams will select a minimum of 1 writer each from this years competition to mentor. To be eligible for the Launch Pad Mentorship Program, all entrants MUST select the “Mentorship” add-on at time of entry, or enter utilizing their All Access Pass.
