Burner by Mukilan Thangamani has been selected as the grand prize winner of the 2018 ScreenCraft Horror Competition. Drawing inspiration from Strangers on a Train, Maya uses a black-market phone app to kill her sexually abusive boss, only to find she must repay the favor.
ScreenCraft has announced the semifinalists for their 2018 Horror Screenplay Competition.
Quarterfinalists have been announced for the 2018 Screencraft Horror Competition.
Craig Peters studied theatre at Stanford and UC Riverside, then moved to Los Angeles and slowly made the transition from acting to writing. His horror screenplay The 49th Day was selected for the prestigious "BloodList", an annual list highlighting the top 13 most well-liked, unproduced horror scripts of the year. The 49th Day was also named the 2016 winner of the ScreenCraft Horror Screenwriting Competition.
Out of more than 1,000 submissions, The 49th Day by Craig Peters has been selected as the Grand Prize Winner of the 2016 ScreenCraft Horror Screenplay Contest.
