Pier 21
A biological weapon is sent to United States military bases from Iraq, through a CIA drug connection gone bad but it is intercepted by the FBI before it becomes totally lethal.
SYNOPSIS
Pier 21 fades in on a normal, day to day bust by the FBI at a crumbling, Washington D.C. brownstone. Kenney is arrested in his filthy apartment and several pounds of heroin are found along with twenty thousand dollars.
Kenney is taken to a local police station where he tells a tale of CIA involvement in a heroin smuggling ring. The FBI return for Kenney and on the basis of his story, transport him from police headquarters to FBI Headquarters in Washington.
On the way to FBI Headquarters, Kenneys car is attacked by what appears to be terrorists. A fast paced car chase down the parkway turns into disaster for both cars. The terrorist car drives off the highway and explodes into a fiery wreck.
Kenney is picked up by new agents who finally get him to a new cell in the hospital ward of the FBI. In the ward it is discovered that the heroin has some attractions that no other drug in the world contains. One of those attractions is a lethal virus which begins killing FBI Agents. It is a virus from Iraq. It is a biological weapon sent to the United States through a CIA drug connection.
From that point on Pier 21 is an action packed suspense thriller pitting the FBI against the CIA in a world class mystery of intrigue and death. Oliver, the Head of the FBI and several of his agents are working against time, with the help of FBI Viral Specialist Margret, to uncover where exactly the biological weapon came from and what the virus was intended to do.
The story weaves a backdrop of deception, intrigue and major world politics with the possibility of war between Iraq and the United States hanging in the balance. Men and women working for the U.S. government work overtime to finally bring the story to an end at Pier 21 in New York City where a ship, loaded with illegal oil is blown to pieces in a spectacular pyrotechnic event that changes the relation-ship between the FBI and the CIA forever.
