Synopsis

At Waldo College, the air is thick with hairspray, clove cigarettes, pot and the driving synth-beats of the New Wave scene. For incoming freshman Dez, Holly and their eclectic circle of rebellious artists, the "Ghost Dorm"—a sprawling, Victorian architectural oddity in Boston called The Charlesgate — is the ultimate backdrop for a year of hedonistic self-discovery. Armed with a "Rational Explanations" notebook to debunk the building's creepy reputation, the group prepares to host the party of the decade: an 1891-themed masquerade that mocks the dormitory's dark, century-old history. But The Charlesgate wasn't designed for living; it was built as a physical manifestation of a madman’s symphony. As the party reaches a fever pitch of neon lights and drug-fueled excess, the music hits a specific, forbidden frequency—the "E-flat" motif that once triggered a bloody tragedy in 1891. The smash-cut between eras disappears as the building’s original, murdered inhabitants begin to bleed into the present. The architecture itself begins to shift, trapping the students in a labyrinthine nightmare where the walls groan with a century of hunger. To survive the night, Dez and friends must discard their logic and face the visceral, supernatural horror woven into the very floorboards. The guest list is closed, the music is screaming, and at the Waldo College Exotic Erotic Art Ball, the final masterpiece will be painted in blood.
