And it's no nay never

When Kris accidentally kills his wealthy future father-in-law during a botched robbery planned by his girlfriend Roxanne, he and his two hapless brothers must race across Ireland to their Uncle Paddy’s safehouse to launder the stolen cash—only to find themselves pursued by murderous mobsters, corrupt cops, and their own disastrous luck in a wild mix of love, chaos, and crime.

Kris O’Donnell isn’t exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, and neither are his two bumbling brothers. When Kris’s fiery girlfriend Roxanne convinces him to rob her abusive, wealthy father, he thinks it’s the perfect plan to secure their future together. But in true O’Donnell fashion, things go catastrophically wrong—Kris accidentally kills the old man.

Now, with a bag full of dirty money and blood on their hands, Kris, Roxanne, and his hapless brothers are forced to flee across Ireland, heading for Uncle Paddy’s farmhouse in Cork. Uncle Paddy, a seasoned crook, is their only hope—he can launder the cash and give them a way out.

But the road to safety is anything but smooth. Pursued by Roxanne’s father’s ruthless business associates, hunted by corrupt cops, and constantly tripping over their own mistakes, the gang lurches from one disaster to another. Along the way, unlikely romance sparks, loyalties are tested, and the brothers learn that sometimes family is the only thing keeping you alive—even when they’re the ones making everything worse.

Equal parts love story, crime caper, and chaotic road trip, this Irish romantic comedy thriller blends sharp wit, dark humor, and high-stakes danger in a story of bad decisions, worse luck, and the messy business of love.

Author Bio:
James Kearney is a writer, performer, and student whose life and art are deeply shaped by his remarkable journey of recovery. A dry alcoholic, James has been clean and sober since 10:00am on 18th September 2011, a milestone that marks the turning point from years of addiction to alcohol, crack, and heroin into a new chapter of hope, growth, and creativity.

The dark times of his past, marked by struggle and survival, continue to inspire and inform much of his writing, where themes of pain, resilience, and human vulnerability are met with wit, raw honesty, and sometimes dark comedy.
