Author Bio:
In addition to being a produced, prolific screenwriter with a distinct voice, I’m an African American minister who grew up in the inner city of Philadelphia. My screenplays typically feature characters of diverse ethnicities finding common ground and even love when they aren't necessarily looking for it. I don’t believe films by creatives of color should be limited to stories featuring gangbangers, drugs, criminals or broad comedy. I’ve written and produced fifteen shorts including "People Like Me," featuring Elizabeth Banks, that has been utilized in diversity training.
