She has coached, played, and refereed soccer for over twenty years. She grew up on a farm in Escondido and loves designing edible gardens and doing botany experiments. Recently, she sold her software company in order to write full-time and she wrote a script, Last Woman, that involves the multi-universe and technology gone awry. Sandi is a certified Disney expert and wrote Pixie Dust Death as a young adult novel. Her love of Disney’s stories inspired her to write Kira and Henry, her newest highly-rated young adult novel and the adapted script was a finalist at The Austin Film Festival. Sandi is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation and a winner of the Native American Media Alliance - twice in 2023. Her most recent scripts; Reintroduction of Humans (TV) and Blood Moon Wolf (Feature) are set in the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma.
