THE DEEP END

Character-driven psychological horror thriller set in a suburban house, with a disturbed female lead and a shocking twist ending, inspired by Henry James' "Turn of the Screw". Two children seem to be haunted by the ghost of their dead mother's secret lover, as seen through the eyes of a young, troubled woman hired as a nanny while their father leaves town on business. Their suburban house evolves into a nightmare world of psychological evil that seems to emanate from the back-yard pool. Hook: is there a ghost in the house, or is the nanny imagining it and going mad? Script Excerpt

BELLE AND THE BLOOD BEAST

A revisionist horror take on the classic fairy tale for young adults -- equal parts romance, action and gore. Belle, a modern, independent beauty rebelling against the man's world of 17th-century France, is forced to live in an enchanted castle to save her father's life. She becomes the defiant prisoner of the Blood Beast, a lonely nobleman cursed with a monstrous body and a predatory savagery powerful enough to hunt and kill twenty men. Both are transformed by a strange, complex love that's threatened by outside forces led by Victor, a cold-blooded cadet captain so obsessed over Belle that he'll destroy them both. Who the true beast is evolves in dark, twisted ways. A romantic horror-thriller date movie, R-rated for violence, not a Disney family movie. More in the style of "Red Riding Hood", "Gretel and Hansel" and "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies". Script Excerpt
