Author Bio:
A former Master Gardener and tai chi student/assistant instructor, I am a current TreeKeeper (#467), mom and wife, and veteran Chicago cop. I grew up with taiko sounding the next block over; this and Native American music, including from the pow-wows I've been to, have all profoundly affected me. Like my main character, my husband and I have been in Scouts and hand-made drums; many true events from his life are worked into this script, now known as Uniforms.
