Objective
The WeScreenplay Feature Lab is designed to provide access to Hollywood professionals and help you level up your craft at the same time. 6 fellows will be selected to participate in a jam-packed, multi-day interactive virtual screenwriting lab.
The lab includes group and 1:1 meetings with industry executives, hands-on workshops, and discussions with working feature writers. This year’s industry lab participants include writers, creative executives, producers and companies behind films with Ryan Coogler, Ethan Hawke, Bradley Cooper, and experience working with Blumhouse, HBO, Netflix, Paramount and more.
Plus our industry guests have expertise in getting films into major festivals and labs like Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca and more. Show More

WeScreenplay as part of The WeScreenplay Feature Competition is giving away cash and prizes, including a $1,000 cash grand prize, but most importantly the top scripts will be considered by our industry jury which includes Hollywood producers, agents, and managers. Plus, every entrant receives free feedback on their project to help improve their writing.
Past WeScreenplay winners have optioned their projects, developed work with producers, and been signed by places like Heroes and Villains, Industry Entertainment, Zero Gravity, and more.

WeScreenplay Names Winners
The WeScreenplay Internation Screenwriting Competition has named Tom Vecchio as their Grand Prize Winner for his script Night School Al.
Grand Prize
Tom Vecchio, NIGHT SCHOOL AL.
Inspired by a little known fact about Al Capone, this is the story of his year in night school, his relationship with his beautiful, suffragette Irish teacher and how education gave Capone the tools to create the American myth we know today.
Second Prize
Odin Ozdil, TECH AND STRYKER.
A whiz kid hacker and a washed-up Cold War agent that hate each other must learn to work together to recover millions in bitcoins stolen from the U.S. government.
Third Prize
Robert Rhyne, PASSING THROUGH
A doctor faces dangerous consequences when he falls in love with his female patient -- who was also his victim in a hit and run.
