Jeremy Irons to Judge 2014 Shore Scripts
Shore Scripts has announced that the Oscar Winning actor Jeremy Irons has come onboard as a Judge for 2014's Shore Scripts Screenwriting Competition. Jeremy won an Oscar for Best Actor in his performance as Claus von Bulow in Reversal of Fortune. He is also a Golden Globe, Primetime Emmy, Tony Award and SAG Award winner. His performances include: The French Lieutenant's Woman, in which he starred opposite Meryl Streep; The Mission; and David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers. He also made pop culture history as the voice of the evil lion Scar in Disney's classic The Lion King.
Jeremy joins an illustrious group of 20 other Industry Judges who will read the top 3 scripts from this year's competition. Between them they have a combined total of 30 Oscar & BAFTA Wins & Nominations.
Shore Scripts also has over 100 Production Companies attached to read the best scripts that are entered this year.
