Objective

The Stone Knight Productions Writing Competition is dedicated to discovering, recognizing, and supporting talented screenwriters and storytellers.

Our mission is to provide emerging and established writers with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, originality, and storytelling abilities within the film industry.

Stone Knight Productions offers two screenplay competition categories: Feature-Length Screenplays (90–120 pages) and Short Screenplays (10–50 pages).

Competition benefits include cash prizes, complimentary feedback for winners, interviews with selected authors, one-on-one opportunities with a producer, and Story of the Year recognition.

Through these competitions, Stone Knight Productions seeks to encourage creative excellence, recognize compelling stories, and build meaningful connections with talented writers. Show More

The regular entry fee is $85 per screenplay for nonmembers. Active paid SKP members may submit screenplays without additional competition entry fees while their memberships remain active.

Eligibility

The Stone Knight Productions Writing Competition welcomes emerging and established screenwriters. Entrants may submit original feature-length screenplays (90–120 pages) or short screenplays (10–50 pages), depending on the competition category.

Rules

The competition accepts original feature-length screenplays between 90 and 120 pages.
Television scripts are not accepted.
Multiple screenplay submissions are permitted.
The regular entry fee is $85 per screenplay for nonmembers.
Active paid SKP members receive complimentary competition entries while their memberships remain active.
The final submission deadline is March 23, 2027.
Entries will be evaluated through a selection process beginning with the Top 100, narrowing to the Top 10, and concluding with First, Second, and Third Place winners.
Contestants who voluntarily withdraw their screenplays before the submission deadline may request a full refund of their competition entry fees.
