2005 BlueCat Screenplay Competition Winner Sold

Seann William Scott has signed on to star and co-produce GARY THE TENNIS COACH, the 2005 BlueCat Screenplay Competition Winner, with GreeneStreet Films (In The Bedroom, Swimfan).

Andy Stock and Rick Stempson, who won BlueCat in July 2005, penned the script. Directing is Danny Leiner (Dude, Where’s My Car?).

Peter Morgan (Poison Ivy), who is acting as executive producer, took interest and started shopping the script shortly after the screenplay was selected winner.

In November 2005, Andy and Rick were signed by the United Talent Agency. Their literary agents at UTA are Barbara Dreyfus, Charlie Ferraro, Tracey Jacobs and Jeremy Zimmer, whose client roster includes Charlie Kaufman, M. Night Shyamalan, Harrison Ford and Johnny Depp.
