Categories
Objective
Personal coverage and feedback from programmers and readers on your screenplay will be available to every screenplay entrant. Cash prizes are awarded in each of three categories: Best Screenplay, Best Voice of Color Screenplay (written by or about people of color), and Best Northcoast Screenplay (set in or about northern Ohio).
Rules
An entry form and and entry fee must accompany each entry. One entry fee puts your screenplays in all the categories to which it qualifies.
Awards
Cash prizes are awarded in each of three categories: Best Screenplay, Best Voice of Color Screenplay (written by or about people of color), and Best Northcoast Screenplay (set in or about northern Ohio). $500 each winner.

WritersScriptNetwork Adds Prize Power to 2003 Ohio Independent Screenplay Awards
The Ohio Independent Film Festival is honored to have
www.WritersScriptNetwork.com as an official sponsor for the 2003 Ohio
Independent Screenplay Awards (OISA), the oldest and most prestigious
screenplay awards program in the Midwest. Over the years, OISA¹s
winning screenplays have been optioned, produced into full-length
feature films and some winning writers have even ventured into
professional writing careers. OISA clearly serves a promising ticket
to a successful writing career!
In keeping with this goal, www.WritersScriptNetwork.com. will award a
promotion package to the winning screenplays as an official prize for
the 2003 OISA. Every week through the www.WritersScriptNetwork.com
network, at least three writers either sell or option their feature
or TV script, or get writing work (ranging up to 6 figure studio
sales). Producers have now found 192 writers/scripts through
www.WritersScriptNetwork.com's assistance. Representatives have
taken on approximately 98 writers and 28 screenplay shorts have been
sold or optioned. OISA is excited to have www.WritersScriptNetwork
on board this year.
Other OISA prizes will include cash awards and the opportunity to
network with various Hollywood and New York City producers.
Deadlines for the 2003 Ohio Independent Screenplay Awards are: JUNE
1. Late entries will be accepted no later than JULY 1. Please call
