Shore Scripts Names Feature Screenplay Contest Winners

David Peterson's The Blind Sea has been named the Grand Prize Winner of the 2020 Shore Feature Screenplay Contest.

Was voted the best script from all genre Finalists and will receive a cash prize of $10,000.

When her daughter goes missing, a mother seeks out a brilliant but partially blind P.I. to find her. In the midst of what smells like a cover-up, one plucky journalist delves deep into L.A.’s missing persons numbers and realises the bigger, uglier picture.

On a journey to deliver a religious artifact to a new planet, an android protects his crew from an alien who can twist reality, while dealing with conflicting emotions towards his given gender.

BEST THRILLER | FRIEND OF THE SHOW by BRIAN T. ARNOLD

When a pompous, conspiracy-peddling cable news pundit is kidnapped by a deranged fan, an idealistic young reporter uncovers a domestic terror group’s conspiracy to assassinate a country-unifying presidential candidate.
