A seasoned business executive and awards recipient, Harold has written seven award winning screenplays, including a modern day action/adventure western, a conspiracy thriller, two comedies and three dramas.

The screenplay won the Bronze Award at the 2014 International Independent Film Awards, was selected as an Official Finalist at the 2014 Barcelona International Film Festival, a top eight finalist at the 2014 Los Angeles New Media Film Festival, a top three Screenplay Finalist at the 2012 NYC Harlem International Film Festival; won the 2011 Aloha Accolade Award and was selected as an Official Finalist at the 2010 Las Vegas International Film Festival.
His international environmental drama about the oil sands, "Destiny of Tar and Feathers," received the Runner Up Award for Best Screenplay at the 2013 Action on Film International Film Festival and was selected in the Best of Category and an Official Finalist at the 2013 Honolulu Film Awards.
His modern day western action/adventure “Devil’s Valley Justice,” received the 2014 International Independent Film Award Silver Award, 2014 Bare Bones International Film and Music Festival Best International Screenplay Silver Medallion Award, was accepted into the 2014 Sacramento International Film Festival, won the 2013 Mexico International Film Festival Best Screenplay 2nd Place, 2012 Honolulu Film Awards' highest award -- the Gold Kahuna Award for best screenplay and Honorable Mention at the 2012 Las Vegas Film Festival and Los Angeles Movie Awards. “Devil’s Valley Justice,” was also selected for production of a writer’s scene at the 2012 Action on Film International Film Festival, at:

Award winning Performer and Director Anthony De Longis read the short film scene screened during the 2012 film festival.
His comedy, Matt and Garden of Eva was The Top 20 IndieFest Screenplay in the world winner and his second comedy screenplay, “The Joy Stik,” was selected as an Official Finalist at the 2010 Honolulu International Film Festival.
His conspiracy thriller “The Invisible Messenger,” has garnered many awards, including being a top 10% finalist in the Nicholl Fellowship Awards.
In 2013 Harold completed his first fictional thriller novel, set for publication in 2014. He is currently writing his second thriller screenplay and developing his second fictional novel.
Harold has received the award for ‘Most Promising Producer’ in Alberta, where such feature movies as Unforgiven, Broke Back Mountain and Mystery Alaska, a project where he studied the craft as a background actor during a major winter storm disaster, were filmed.
He has appeared in more than fifteen commercials, industrial films; Made for TV Movies and series, and feature films, and worked as a contract producer on number of projects, including a Boreal Forest Documentary.

He participated in a presentation to South African President Nelson Mandela’s United Nations Representative on the threats and opportunities in the Sub-Sahara, Africa.
