The Dark Yonder

During the Oklahoma Dust Bowl of 1935, Hoover Nash, a grizzled thieving gunslinger is shown a vision of his impending Hell-fate by Deuce, a demon and his Tommy-gun-toting partner in crime, so they recruit a heaven-bound little girl with the power to destroy Hell’s collectors and save Hoover’s soul.

Warren Lane is an award winning playwright and screenwriter. He grew up in the Arkansas Ozarks, where he claims, "whiskey and Jesus are in a constant power struggle." Lane received his MFA in playwriting from Boston University's Creative Writing Program where his play, The Devil's Teacup, was produced at Boston Playwrights' Theatre and went on to receive the Paula Vogel Playwriting Award at The Kennedy Center. Lane also went on to attend the American Film Institute, where he received another MFA in Screenwriting.
