I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. In my younger years I wanted to become a doctor, but after winning my first writing contest in elementary school, I decided on becoming a writer. Expressing what’s in your heart and in your mind is a wonderful way of reaching others with your wor. The majority of my writings come from experience. My fictional work comes from people I know, or what I see and read about. Aside from writing being a talent I was born with, I do it for my children, letting them know you can be whatever you set your mind on as long as you're determined.
