Hello from Central California! I’m Denise Singleton, an unpublished screenplay writer with high ambitions! I am a 60 year old Black American female with a very diverse background. Originally raised in Los Angeles in the 1970’s I have had an opportunity to travel across California, The States, and abroad. I draw on these experiences to provide another perspective to complicated issues.

I decided to pursue writing to deal with the daily stressors that life sometime brings on this journey called “Life”.

My goal is to write a drama that brings insight and perspective to complex family issues and that forces viewers to explore their own lives and purpose in life. I would love to write for the Tyler Perry Network and to have access to other influential voices that understands the dynamics of minority families.
