From da Big Island

New York defined her - Hawaii changed her, is the tagline. How could Hawaii change New Yorker? From da Big Island is a baby boomer coming of age, fish out of water, woman-centric comedy about Ruth, a famous New York syndicated television personality, whose life is in peril. Needing solitude and change, leaves the Big Apple for the Big Island of Hawaii and discovers life is vastly different than what she expected. Deals with the customs of the islands, her unusual neighbors, marijuana, pigs, and more. Is this the change she expected? Think Barbara Walters meets the Clampetts.
