A seasoned business executive and awards recipient, Harold has written more than eight award winning screenplays, teleplays and miniseries, including a modern day action/adventure western, two thrillers, two comedies and three dramas. He is a “2015 Writer of the Year Award,” nominee—2015 Action on Film International Film Festival, and is included in the “Top 50 Indie Writers in the World,” by Del Weston, Theresa Coscarelli-Weston and Nabi Zee. The multimedia book is slated for publication in 2016.
In 2016, Harold’s latest techno thriller screenplay, 20/20: Search for Independence, received the Screenplay Jury Award at the Northern Virginia International Film and Music Festival; and Official Finalist Best Screenplay Award at the Canada International Film Festival. In 2015, it received the Most Ambitious Script Award at the Action on Film International Film Festival, Platinum Award Best Feature Screenplay, International Independent Film Awards; Honorable Mention at the Barcelona International Film Festival, Williamsburg International Film Festival NYC, The Indie Gathering International Film Festival and Los Angeles Movie Awards; and Official Finalist Best Screenplay at the Alaska International Film Festival and Honolulu Film Awards; and has been an official selection at many festivals.
Harold’s first miniseries, Deadly Invisible Enemies, received the 2016 Official Finalist Award at the Honolulu Film Awards; 2015 Gold Award for Feature Scripts, International Independent Film Awards; was a 2015 Top 4 Finalist at the Harlem International Film Festival; received a 2015 nomination for Best Action Sequence Short or Feature at the Action on Film International Film Festival; received the 2014 El Rey Award Special Jury Prize Screenplay, Barcelona International Film Festival; was a 2014 Finalist Best Thriller/Horror Screenplay, Screenplay Festival. Deadly Invisible Enemies: The Pilot was nominated for 2015 Best Thriller Screenplay NOVA Film Festival and 2014 Best Teleplay at the Action on Film International Festival.
His family drama “White Water Rescue,” was a 2015 Official Finalist at the Mountain Film Festival; 2015 3rd Place Winner Best Screenplay at the Winnipeg Real to Reel Film Festival; 2015 Quarter Finalist Best Screenplay, Scriptapalooza Screenplay Competition; was a 2015 Finalist Best Family Screenplay, Screenplay Festival; won the 2014 Best Screenplay category at the Honolulu Film Awards, Honolulu, Hawaii; was a 2014 Winning Screenplay at TrindieFest, Colorado; and a 2014 Official Finalist at the Yosemite International Film Festival.

Award winning Performer and Director Anthony De Longis read the short film scene screened during the 2012 film festival.
His comedy, Matt and Garden of Eva was The Top 20 IndieFest Screenplay in the world winner and his second comedy screenplay, “The Joy Stik,” won the 1st Runner Up Best Comedy Scene Award at the 2015 Action on Film International Film Festival and was selected as an Official Finalist at the 2010 Honolulu International Film Festival.
His conspiracy thriller “The Invisible Messenger,” has garnered many awards, including top 10% finalist in the Nicholl Fellowship Awards.
Harold completed two techno thriller novels in the Deadly Invisible Enemies Thriller Series – Evil in the Air and Hunt for Evil, published in 2014. He is currently writing the third novel in the series and developing his first television drama series and pilot, and a multiplatform techno thriller series.
Harold has received the award for ‘Most Promising Producer’ in Alberta, where such feature movies as Unforgiven, Broke Back Mountain and Mystery Alaska, a project where he studied the craft as a background actor during a major winter storm disaster, were filmed.
He has appeared in more than fifteen commercials, industrial films; Made for TV Movies and series, and feature films, and worked as a contract producer on number of projects, including a Boreal Forest Documentary.

SPECIAL NOTES:
Harold is one of a small group of civilian executives invited to the National Defense College, Department of National Defense, Kingston, Ontario, CANADA, and is a Graduate of the National Securities Studies Program for Senior Military Officers. The program was an intensive study of major geographic regions of the world, including the global security threats and opportunities presented – politically, socially, technically and economically. He participated in a presentation to South African President Nelson Mandela’s United Nations Representative on the threats and opportunities in the Sub-Sahara, Africa.
