Ryan holds dual degrees from the University of Southern California schools of Film and Business. He began his studies in the art of writing at the age of 1 4 at the acclaimed South Orange County School of the Arts where he learned to kiss girls during the intermissions of plays.

He recently directed the short film he wrote starring John Heard and himself entitled "Buoyancy". Ryan’s first full length play “Mine’d” is currently being work-shopped in theaters around the US.

He has two fully developed TV projects that are currently being considered at Comedy Central, Warner Bros. and Hulu.

Ryan is an actor as well and has received rave reviews for his performance as Brad in "Orange Flower Water" by Craig Wright and as John in "The Shawl" by David Mamet.

He serves as Artistic Director of The Rydemption Theater Company.

He grew up in by the beach in Orange County. His father is a scuba diving instructor and his mother is a renowned public speaker. His brother is a talented writer as well, best known for his novel “Shards” which will hit the shelves later next year.

He lives his life by Theodore Roosevelt's quote...
