Author Bio: Warren holds his Certificate in Film and Television from the UCLA Writers' Program. In 2016, he was named as one of the top 100 Filmmakers in the World by the Action on Film International Film Festival. Warren is the author of two non-fiction true crime books and is considered to be a leading authority on early Los Angeles politics and organized crime in the 1920's through 1940's, the development of Las Vegas, the life of famed billionaire Howard Hughes and the 1947 murder of gangster Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel. Warren's screenplays have taken top honors at such festivals as the California Independent Film Festival, the Beverly Hills International Film Festival, the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, the Canadian International Film Festival, The Canadian Diversity Film Festival, the Alaskan International Film Festival, the Action on Film International Film Festival, the NOVA Independent Film Festival and the Orlando International Film Festival, to name but a few and have been tabbed as finalists at more than 100 events.
