And why are these aliens doing experiments on humans? This kept the pages turning... This was an easy read... everything that was setup was paid off... It's a contained suspense/mystery like "Identity" but also a sci-fi story in the vein of "The Forgotten..." Good technical writing skills... Cinematic scenes: Plenty of them. The stranded shuttle, the mine, the alien standing over the unconscious humans."
