Objective

To introduce writers to the decision makers of traditional broadcast television, the cable market, and multi-media outlets. Competition winners will have the chance to get their material read by experienced production companies.

$25 reading fee for students, any deadline.

Rules

  • Work must be original material of the author(s), and must not be sold or optioned at time of submission.
  • Multiple entries may be submitted by author(s).
  • Pilots and MOW (Movie of the Week) accepted. Pilots for comedies or dramas may be up to two hours in length.
  • Electronic submissions accepted.

Awards

Winner receives:

  • $500
  • Winner and finalists receive consideration by established production companies and agencies.
