  • Open to all writers 18 and over.
  • Work must be original material of the author(s).
  • Must not be sold or optioned at time of submission.
  • Multiple entries may be submitted by author(s).
  • Include separate form for each entry.
  • Author(s) must sign entry form for eligibility.
  • Feature length scripts of any genre accepted.
  • Format and bind your script according to industry standards.
  • WGA registration is recommended but not required.
  • Scripts will not be returned. Do not send originals.
  • Electronic submissions accepted


First Place, $1,000; Top three winners will have a personal e-query sent from sent to over 3,000 industry professionals and eight-month access to their contact database. The top three winners will also receive an annual subscription to Scripped Pro.

Acclaim Announces Fall/Winter 2012 Screenplay Winners

Arctic Circle, by Daniel Rugussis, has been named the winner of the Fall/Winter 2012 Acclaim Film Screenwriting Contest.

ARCTIC CIRCLE by Daniel Rugussis (horror)
A notorious Russian billionaire sails his yacht into the Arctic Circle to break the "No Limit Dive" record, but he and his guests soon discover there is a much greater menace lurking in the frozen Arctic.


SEEING RED by Sundae Jahant-Osborn (thriller)
