Objective

Your logline is your one-sentence movie pitch. It’s what producers and agents want to hear before they’ll even glance at your script. Ideally, you should have a solid logline in place before you even start writing your script, because if your idea doesn’t work as a logline, you can be pretty damn sure it won’t work as a script.

Winning our monthly competition comes with its share of perks, but everyone who enters this contest comes out ahead, because every single logline submitted receives detailed feedback in five days or less. For an entry fee of just $9.90, LA Screenwriter will give you a detailed breakdown of your logline’s strengths and weaknesses and provide you with suggestions for making your logline stronger.

You don’t need to have written the script to submit a logline, and you can submit as many loglines as you like each month, including variations of the same logline.

Deadline/Entry Fees

25th of every month.

Entry fee: $9.90

Notification: Last day of each month.

Rules

You don’t need to have written the script to submit a logline, and you can submit as many loglines as you like each month, including variations of the same logline. Read the complete rules at http://la-screenwriter.com/official-rules/.
